A bit rusty on the Ambrose rules? Here’s a refresher…
A team of four players score together (Four Person Ambrose).
Each player hits off the tee, the best ball is selected, and all other players play alongside the best ball’s position.
All players must play the ball from within 1 club length of the original ball, no nearer the hole, staying within the same conditions (fairway, rough, bunker etc) and 1 putter head on the green. This process is repeated until the ball is holed.
Each player must contribute a minimum of 3 drives during the round.
Total stroke score is recorded for each hole played.
At the completion of the round, signed scorecards with clearly visible NETT & GROSS scores including team handicap are to be handed in.
