A friendship that made a tougher time better; Jamal and Cooper found comfort recovery from surgery at our House in Tamworth.

Meet Jamal and Cooper. 

What was once just a quick hello on the football field turned into an unexpected friendship at our Ronald McDonald House Tamworth, where both were recovering from surgery. Arriving as near-strangers, the teens quickly became best mates.  

Spending time hanging out and having a bit of fun, Jamal and Cooper were there for each other every step of their recovery. Their parents also found comfort in the boys’ newfound friendship, leaning on each other for advice and support. 

A friendship that made a tough time better; and one they hope to continue beyond their stay.
