Corporate Volunteering

Your organisation can play a key role in helping families stay together, and close to the care they need, when they have an ill or injured child.

By partnering with Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW, you’re making a positive impact on your organisation, the Northern NSW community, families and ill and injured children.

Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW works with corporate organisations to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that align with community giving priorities.

We’re grateful to our Partners who help give families what they need most during tough times – each other.

Corporate volunteering opportunities

Meals from the Heart
After a long day by their child’s hospital bed, cooking a meal may be the last thing on a parent’s mind – that’s where your team comes in. Meals from the Heart invites you to take over our House kitchen’s and cook a meal for the families staying at our House.

Lovin from the Oven
Lovin’ from the Oven gives you the opportunity to ‘bake a difference’ in the lives of families with an ill or injured child. Donate your time and baking talents and provide a source of comfort for families staying at our House – making their days a little bit brighter.

Big Breakfast
Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, and when you’re caring for a sick or injured child, it’s the fuel you need to kick-start a morning filled with medical appointments. Have your team take over our Ronald McDonald House kitchen’s and provide breakfast to the families who stay with us.

Corporate/Community Cook Up
When a seriously ill or injured child is staying in hospital, home-cooked meals can be few and far between. Help provide nutritious, on-the-go meals with our Corporate/Community Cook Up initiative – take over our kitchen and prepare ready made meals to stock our Family Rooms.

Working bee
Gather your team and lend a hand around our Newcastle House. Whether it’s tidying the gardens or giving one of our areas a refresh, a working bee is the perfect way to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

For more information or to arrange a Corporate/Community Cook Up or Working Bee, contact Kerryn, Community Engagement Coordinator, via [email protected] or 0437 385 499.
