Together for Christmas

For many, Christmas is a joyous time to celebrate and spend time together with family and friends – that shouldn’t be any different for sick kids and their families.

For many, Christmas is a joyous time to celebrate and spend time together with family and friends – that shouldn’t be any different for sick kids and their families…

When six-year-old Logan was diagnosed with cancer, his family turned to Ronald McDonald House Newcastle; calling Ronald McDonald House their ‘home away from home’ for over 290 nights.

From birthdays to Christmas, Ronald McDonald House was the happy and joyful place where Logan and his family could smile and celebrate surrounded by other families facing similar hardship.

“In the lead up to Christmas, Ronald McDonald House was filled with decorations and holiday activities for the kids. The House felt so homey and there was such a nice Christmas spirit.

“We spent Christmas Day at the House with new, life-long friends; watching all the kids play just like normal children and enjoying Christmas dinner together in this place that had become our home was so special.”

Many families with a sick child will spend this holiday season far from home at Ronald McDonald House – just like Logan’s did. Thanks to your support, they’ll be able to celebrate together, surrounded by festive cheer and making precious memories to last a lifetime.

With your generosity, we can continue to help our Chapters expand their reach and ensure even more families are supported throughout the world.
